有部电影《购物狂》，讲的是购物上瘾的人，看到自己心仪的物件就会欲罢不能，哪怕欠下巨额的信用卡债务也要买下。我们在英文里称之为shopaholic。那么我们今天讲的“话痨”就是talkaholic。

　　Talkaholic is a person who takes great pleasure in talking. A talkaholic has trouble keeping quiet and listening when other people are around.

　　Talkaholic指很喜欢讲话并且乐在其中的人，也就是我们所说的“话痨”。一般有别人在场的时候，话痨很难做到不发言听别人说话。

　　Similar words like workaholic and shopaholic are all ended with the same suffix -aholic, which means of an obsessive interest in something.

　　Workaholic（工作狂）和shopaholic（购物狂）这两个词与talkaholic一样都是以-aholic为后缀的，这个后缀表示对某事有极度的兴趣，或者对某事上瘾。
